Model · X-ray baggage scanner
A compact X-ray baggage scanner built around a 500 × 300 mm tunnel — small enough to pass a standard doorway at 284 kg, large enough to screen backpacks, handbags, parcels and mail. The unit we put at hotel, campus, office and mailroom entrances when there is no space for a full-size checkpoint.

Dual-energy imaging in a unit that fits through the door.
The TS-5030A is a dual-energy X-ray inspection system for hand-carried items. An 80 kV generator beams upward through the tunnel while an L-shaped multi-energy photodiode array captures the image in real time at 1024 × 1280 pixels with 4096 grey levels. Material classification separates organic, inorganic and mixed contents on screen, so an operator can tell a dense tool from a wrapped package before deciding to open anything.
The physical design is what makes it an entrance machine rather than a checkpoint machine. Unit dimensions are 1660 × 746 × 1165 mm and unit weight is 284 kg, so it moves through a standard door and does not need a dedicated room, a pit or civil works. The conveyor runs at 0.2 m/s with a 50 kg load rating and sits at 663 mm, which suits a countertop-class feed rather than a baggage hall.
Detection performance is stated plainly rather than implied: 12 mm steel penetration, wire resolution of 0.0787 mm copper wire (AWG40), and penetration resolution of 0.202 mm copper wire (AWG32) under a three-step aluminium wedge of 9.5 / 15.9 / 22.2 mm. Radiation performance is equally concrete: no more than 3.0 µGy per inspection inside the tunnel, external leakage under 1.0 µGy/h, and the unit is guaranteed safe for ASA/ISO 1600 film.

The functions that decide how quickly an image is understood and an alarm is resolved.
Entrances where space, not detection capability, is the constraint.
Lobby and staff-door bag screening with a compact tunnel that fits the architecture.
Backpacks and instrument cases screened beside the metal detection lane.
Envelopes, small parcels, mail trays and returns at countertop scale.
Visitor property and incoming mail screened with organic material discrimination.
The opening is 500 (L) × 300 (W) mm. Size it from the largest item you actually expect plus clearance — a bag placed diagonally needs more than its longest side. If cartons are part of the mix, the 650 × 500 mm tunnel on the TS-6550 is normally the better answer.
284 kg as a unit, 400 kg packed on its wooden pallet, with a crate footprint of 180 × 88 × 138 cm. It passes a standard doorway and does not need fixing to the floor, so relocating a lane is a handling job rather than a construction job.
Screening does not damage electronics, and the unit is guaranteed safe for ASA/ISO 1600 film. If you routinely screen professional film or magnetic media, tell us and we will confirm the applicable limits.
No. The unit is freestanding, the workstation sits at the discharge end, and the operator reads the image where the bags come out. A remote viewing position is possible where the operator must be separated from the public side.
The country of installation, the largest item you expect, the items per hour at your peak, and whether you want the unit branded or unbranded. From that we send the datasheet, the crate data and pricing, normally within one business day.
Tell us the country of installation and the intended use, and we will send the full technical catalogue and pricing.
